The Skipjack, is a Semi-Retro fish that can be ridden in all type of waves. This retro fish was popular on the mid 80’s down in South America originally riden as a twin fin. From the years 1996-1998 this style of board was brought back in the market with multiple fin set ups. The Skipjack gives you a performance shortboard feel with a fish like shape. This board can be ridden in various type of fin setups, Twin fin, Tri-fin and Quad-fin. This board boasts a beautiful outline contour and has caught the eyes of all types of riders. The bottom has a slight Vee from the nose into the middle of the board. Then increasing a lot into the tail area. In some cases we also add double concave in the front fin area to give riders more manueverability and more performance. The Skipjack is a good beginner board when designed in largerr volumes. It's also an excellent board for experienced surfers that choose to decrease size and volume up to about 8 inches. Swallow tail recommended

BOTTOM: Slight V running from nose and increasing as it gets into the tail area. In some cases we add Double Concave into Vee that starts from side fins and dies off in the middle of the fins.
